The head of the Steel Axe is brighter than most other axes, except for the Hardened Axe. It has a light brown handle and a dull green strap near its base. Its box has a dull green color on it, with its decal on its largest sides.

The Steel Axe can be bought from Wood R Us, hence the player only requires $190 Money to buy it. It is located on the shelf nearest to the counter. It is stocked next to the Basic Hatchet and Plain axe.
